FRANZ Rising Star Project offers global students and 2018 & 2019 graduates whom are interested in porcelain design USD$ 1,000 scholarship for each porcelain artwork. There is no limit to the type and use of the artworks, neither the age and departments of applicants.
2019 FRSP Scholarship & Award Winners List
The 2019 FRANZ Rising Star Project has received around 600 entries from applicants from 34 countries. 15 distinguished judges from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, Mainland China and Taiwan selected 100 artworks and awarded them the scholarship. The top 10 will also be awarded FRANZ Rising Star Award（FRSA）.
2019 FRANZ Rising Star Award
10 artworks were chosen by 15 distinguished judges from around 600 entries worldwide and were awarded 2019 FRANZ Rising Star Award. The winners of the Rising Star Award will receive an actual certificate and exclusive awards including exhibitions at Porzellanikon Selb in Germany, International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, British Ceramics Biennal and sales opportunity at Today Art Museum, China and Singaporean online art gallery - The Artling. 2019 FRANZ Rising Star Award｜ Special Annoucement
2019 FRANZ Rising Star Award will be awarded to ten winners out of 100 entries of FRANZ Rising Star Project. In order to encourage the winners of FRSA, FRANZ Rising Star Project provide rewards that integrates exhibition, sales opportunity and prize money this year for the first time. The winners of FRSA will not only be awarded with a certificate, but also receive an opportunity to exhibit at Porzellanikon Selb in Germany, International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy and British Ceramic Biennale (BCB). Moreover, the winners will receive the opportunity to sell their artworks in Today Art Museum in China and an online gallery - The Artling in Singapore.

The application period of the 2nd FRANZ Rising Star Project will be starting from May 1st, 2019(Wed) 12:00 noon to August 2nd, 2019(Fri) 12:00 noon*. FRSP will offer scholarships for 100 porcelain artworks with NTD$ 30,000 each, current and graduate students can all apply!

Dr. Hardy Yong Xiang is a Professor of the School of Arts at Peking University (SAPKU) and Vice Dean of the Institute for Cultural Industries at Peking University (ICIPKU), where he is working on a Creativity and Management project.
