2019 FRANZ Rinsing Star Project would like to help scholarship winners to look porcelain design in a different way and broaden these young artists’ horizons through international communication. FRSP corporates with world-renowned art institutions from the UK, Germany, Italy, Singapore, China, Korea and Japan, hoping to meet more talented porcelain design students and build a world-class porcelain platform. By working with FRSP’s partners, young artists’ are given the chance to let their talents be seen by more people and encourage more creative talents to fulfill their porcelain dreams.

The application period of the 2nd FRANZ Rising Star Project will be starting from May 1st, 2019(Wed) 12:00 noon to August 2nd, 2019(Fri) 12:00 noon*. FRSP will offer scholarships for 100 porcelain artworks with NTD$ 30,000 each, current and graduate students can all apply!
Judges & Application Result Announcement
FRANZ Rising Star Project, the first porcelain scholarship for students, has ended the application on August 31st GMT+8. We have received applications from 35 countries/ regions and will start the online evaluation process from September 25th to October 5th GMT+8. Carrying on the experiences and resources of holding FRANZ AWARD - porcelain design competition for 10 years, FRANZ Rising Star Project invites 12 judges from the education, industry and art professions to evaluate the artworks.
FRANZ Rising Star Award｜Announcement of the Honor
2018 FRSA is going to select the top 10 artworks out of 100 artworks nominated in Rising Star scholarship. These prize-winning artworks and the designers will not only receive a certification, but also having the opportunities to stay and create artworks in FRANZ Park in Jingdezhen, China, and the chances to be invited by Ateliers d'Art de France to participate in an exhibition.
List of 2018 FRSP Scholarship & Award Winners
The 2018 FRANZ Rising Star Project received around 400 pieces of artworks from applicants from 35 countries. After 11 days of evaluation, the 12 distinguished judges from the UK, Germany, France, Italy, South Korea, China and Taiwan selected 100 pieces of artwork and award them the scholarship based on their average scores. The top 10 will also be awarded FRANZ Rising Star Award（FRSA）.
FRANZ Rising Star Limited-Time Gallery is now opened at FRANZ flagship store
The FRANZ Rising Star Gallery is a digital platform displays the 100 artworks of the scholarship winners. This time, we’ve organized a physical exhibition in Taipei that displays the award-winning artworks of students from the UK, South Korea, Poland, Taiwan, Mainland China etc. which includes the Top 10 selected artworks. The gallery is now open to the public to December 31st, 2018, at FRANZ flagship store.
