Jaime Coll Conesa, is doctor in Arts with Honours from the Universitat de les Illes Balears and holds a degree from the University of Barcelona. Since 1998, he has been the Director of González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Decorative Arts in Valencia, where he became Curator in 1986. He is President of the Association of Ceramology, also founder, and has been Secretary of the Section Art and Design of the Spanish Society of Ceramics and Glass and is also member of the International Academy of Ceramics, based in Geneva.

Jaime Coll Conesa curated exhibitions such as "Ceramics and Cultural Change" (Valencia, 1988), "The blue earthenware in medieval Valencia" (Madrid, 1995), "Mallorca and the Trade of Ceramics" (Palma de Mallorca, 1998), "Tile at Museum: conservation, restoration and exhibition" (Valencia, 2002), "50 years (1954-2004). National Museum of Ceramics in the Palacio de Dos Aguas "(Valencia, 2004), "Valencian tile: architectural colors" (Lisbon, 2005),"Tile Design in Valencia" (New York, 2006; Dallas, 2007) and "Knight Images on Ceramics" (2008).

Jaime Coll Conesa Holds a National Award for Ceramics in Research by the Association of Spanish Ceramics Cities and has been part of the jury in numerous competitions on Ceramic Art such as the Manises Biennial of Ceramics, the City of Castellón Award or the Alcora International Ceramic Competition.
