Concept of artwork 設計理念:

"Mobile Ring" are two porcelain ring-shaped plates with playful and practical functions, in order to use them away from the table, free the hand and replace the plastic disposable tableware. They raise the mobility of traditional porcelain tableware and encourage an environmental lifestyle with less material wastes. By a picnic, you can place the picnic plate stably on your legs, on your knee, even on your head. With this interesting handling, the picnic plate is placed at a user-friendly height, which is far from insects. It can be held firmly and securely or you can wear it with a rope like a shoulder bag. The lid prevents food from falling out, which is also multifunctional as a breadboard. The simple and various transportations make porcelain dishes easier and safer to be carried. And the party plate can be put on a drinking bottle. It is able to serve snacks stably on the neck of the bottle, meanwhile, a hand remains freely usable. It also allows you to find your drink easily from the individual food. With the coating “touch!" from KAHLA/Thüringen Porzellan GmbH, the plate can be noiselessly placed on a bottle.

Of course, the theme is not new but still a challenge. Designers hav been thinking of solutions how to handele a dish while serving yourself with a drink. This design may lead to another way to solve the problem - good!
