Concept of artwork 設計理念:

My work explores the cyclical structure of creation and destruction in urban environments. Inspired by supports, cables, and debris from construction sites, I reconstruct broken clay and porcelain fragments. In East Asian ceramics, cracks often symbolize imperfection, but I see them as signs of change and renewal. Within unstable structures and incomplete forms, I find a fluid and open beauty in imperfection.

其他說明:

My work investigates the cyclical structure of creation and destruction inherent in urban environments. I draw inspiration from fragmented structures, supports, cables, and pipelines encountered in construction sites, redevelopment zones, and peripheral border spaces. These material elements inform a process of making that involves the repeated deconstruction and reconstruction of broken clay fragments. I focus on the ways in which disparate elements collide and interconnect within complex, entangled systems. Through this process, I explore the relationship between material and structure, order and chaos. At the same time, my work seeks to visualize the tension and unfamiliarity that emerge at the point where objective space and subjective place fail to align.

a work of excellent raw texture and color.

The concept and expression are well-matched, and it seems the author has a good grasp of the potential of their own work. That said, I feel there are challenges with the composition in this piece.
