The geometric design visible on the artwork was created by sanding its surface with a tool I personally made by wrapping sandpaper around a PVC pipe. Depending on the curvature of the artwork's form, the depth of the sanding, and the angle, various cross-sections appear, and as these multiple sections overlap, they form the geometric patterns.
