Centering on the themes of “people, clay, and vessels,” this work explores the role of containers in carrying emotions and memories. Inspired by childhood memories of paper containers, it combines paper pulp and porcelain clay, referencing the traditional method of handmade paper to experiment with the fusion of paper and clay. The piece features geometric forms reminiscent of origami and a delicate, paper-like texture. During firing, the paper quietly vanishes, leaving only its traces embedded in the ceramic—transforming into a contemporary vessel that holds memory and materializes the connection between medium and emotion.
