In the Constructing Memory series, glaze detaches from clay to become an independent medium, challenging the traditional dependency between the two. The process begins by extruding glaze into lines, which form surfaces, then structures. After firing at 1230°C, the glaze pieces are assembled using self-made low-fire transparent glaze, then refired to form a solid shape. "Constructing" refers to both the physical act of assembling and the metaphorical effort to preserve memory. The uncertainty of firing reflects how memory fades and transforms over time.
