Yingqing Moon Jar draws from the layered aesthetics of Qingbai glaze—its white-to-blue gradient and microbubbles beneath the surface. By mixing polystyrene beads into translucent bone china and optimizing its formula, I enhanced its light permeability. As light passes through the fired voids, the work reinterprets glaze texture and reveals an otherwise hidden inner space, offering a new reading of ceramic interiority.

在這個系列作品中，我選用了多種不同的土，透過實驗與創作，在回應陶瓷史的脈絡的同時，也重新詮釋我們對釉色的認知。藉由這些新材料，我嘗試超越釉色的在傳統陶瓷中的表現框架，重新審視陶瓷的美學，同時探索陶瓷更深層的特質。 In this series of works, I selected a variety of clays and, through experimentation and creation, responded to the historical context of ceramics while reinterpreting our understanding of glaze. By introducing these new materials, I attempt to move beyond the traditional framework of glaze expression in ceramics, re-examining ceramic aesthetics and delving into the deeper material qualities of the medium.
