Concept of artwork 設計理念:

I would like to start with a simple figure and add metal pipes, bolts, plates, etc. to geometric ceramics such as hexahedron to combine ceramics, metals, and both to complete the work like a single structure. Each piece is assembled through a woven bonding structure and cannot be completed without either of the two materials, and the motif is that the two materials must be together to form a complete form through bonding. The size and shape can be easily changed through the materials of metal and soil that can be accurately cut, the temperature of the kiln, and the glaze, so ceramics with unclear cutting meet and combine in one form to give new value beyond the unique properties of each material. My work was completed by combining two materials, ceramic and metal, based on today's technology. Production of works includes technologies such as 3D modeling and 3D printers, as well as technologies such as plaster casting and cold joint techniques. It also has the same characteristics as mass-produced prefabricated furniture today by assembling finished ceramics and metals one piece at a time. It is a work that exists somewhere between various boundaries, such as crafts and technology, mass-produced furniture and art funerals.

While I believe the composition as a work requires further consideration, it is commendable that it demonstrates how new technologies and techniques can renew the very nature of expression.
