Concept of artwork 設計理念:
The moon jar has long symbolized the flawless whole of Korean ceramics. I take this familiar form as my starting point and focus on the moment it shifts into a contemporary perspective. From afar the piece keeps its traditional quiet, a step closer, Hanji(Korean traditional mulberry paper) ridges ripple, unsettling what seems known. At this meeting of tradition and fresh variation, my moon jar suggests ways of thinking beyond fixed ideals.

Material: Porcelain, glaze Year: 2025 The vessel is produced by plaster casting in porcelain slip, with Korean traditional mulberry paper (hanji) employed to impart its distinctive surface texture. The entire surface is meticulously refined and hand‑carved, after which the piece undergoes a bisque firing at 1100 °C, receives a clear interior glaze, and is finished with an oxidation firing at 1250 °C.
