Just like this artwork, the theme it conveys is heaviness. Being human, we wake up from our beds day after day, rush through our routines, carrying a shoulder bag filled with breakfast, keys, weariness, reluctance, and a wallet. Before returning home, we pack in the exhaustion of the whole day as well. The weight on our shoulders becomes increasingly burdensome, becoming too heavy to lift despite fitting everything inside. The shoulder strap falls weakly to the side, symbolizing us collapsing on the sofa when we get home. The wrinkles on the backpack represent layers of fatigue piling up, making you and me no longer resemble our original selves.
