Chinese character (妥) means “appropriate”. This letter is a combination of the characters fingernails(爪) and women (女), meaning the grabbing of a woman's hair. This Chinese character, means to order for one’s family to be at peace, the woman must obey the male figures. through my art i try to point out the hidden meaning of this Chinese character and look back at the roots of the words that contain this Chinese character.
