Concept of artwork 設計理念:
Lights, shadows and the spaces were created as metaphors of life experiences - a singular occurrence, some sort of fragmental or persistent state of mind. Path and inner spaces that formed in the volume in different scales create several senses of places such as enclosure, narrow and openness. Lights imply the existences of places, the possibilities of motion and exploration in vertical or horizontal dimension. The work "Gradual Psalms" is aimed to convey a persistent state of mind, which is upward and filled with hope. Due to my faith, I stay in this sort of status most of the time. At the front side there is an elevation in unreasonable scale, which implies that there was some sort of strength that lead me to cross on several highlands which I’m unable to achieve by myself. On the elevation there is a vertical volume with lights came from above, which symbolizes the desire for exploring unknows and the quest for faith and truth.

藉著創造空間及光影，隱喻自己的生命經驗 - 獨特的事件，抑或片斷的、持續的內心狀態。在造型量體中切割、圍塑出路徑及內室空間，以不同的尺度形塑出包覆感、狹縫感及開放感。「光」用以暗示空間的存在，垂直、水平向移動、探索的可能。 作品「上行」所表達的是一種持續的生命狀態，是充滿希望的、向上盤旋的。基於我的信仰，大部分的時間我都是處在這樣的一個狀態。作品的正面下方有一個不合尺度的高差，彷彿在人生前進的路上總是有種力量帶我走上許多自身無法跨過的高台。平台的上方是一個垂直向度抽高的量體，並有光從高處照亮，暗示著自身對信仰的探問及對未知事物探索的渴望。
