Concept of artwork 設計理念:

Foodllery are a set of dishes designed to be used during stand-up receptions and cocktail parties. The design features a way to comfortably carry the dishes with one hand. There are six elements: a spike, two sizes of plates that serve hors d’oeuvre like sandwiches and other foodstuff, two bowls for food with sauce and a container for beverages. Each piece is footed by a ‘ring’ that can be used to carry the food on one's fingers. The ergonomic drop shaped cut-out allows the different sized fingers comfortably fit into it. The foot is a full-body porcelain, it was designed to balance the top serving plate, while the pieces are standing on the table. It prevents them from tilting over and allows to arrange them freely and lift them easily. Every component of this set is a fusion of organically shaped, finger fitted foot for the convenience of use and geometrical, gemstone like top for a better exposure of the food. To achieve this combination I designed the models in a parametric program and 3D printed them to get the high accuracy. The idea behind it was to combine contrasting elements: organic and geometric or ancient porcelain technology and modern computer design and 3D printing.
