Concept of artwork 設計理念:
The theme of my work is 'Expression of the Inside of mind through the Clay.' It started with the materiality of the clay that I felt as I made my work out of clay. It seems to me that clay is a very straightforward and honest material, because it reflects the feelings of the person touching it. This is why the term 'through the clay' is used. I came up with the idea that a jar is a container for something, and used it as an frame to contain the inside of mind in my work. The abstract forms in the jar are those made by hand building without going through the sketching process. The human mind cannot be defined as a definite figure. So I feel the materiality of the clay by hand and find my inside through the process of building it up. Therefore, The shape in this jar is a total of emotions and thoughts that change in the flow of the time.
