Concept of artwork 設計理念:

In different steps at the preparation of food we use our hands as an indispensable tool, for example when we plant, harvest or prepare vegetables and other food products. In the european area is it usually then to use knife and fork to eat. In this case the distance between food and hands is bigger than ever before. We use cutlery as a tool to eat as fast as we can. Vaio is deliberately directed against the use of cutlery. Independent of cultures and traditions the vessels animate to hold them in the hands, feel the porcelain and eat more sensual and conscious. In addition Vaio encourage to eat together, share and talk about the new expericences you get while you eat with the vessels. Expressive ovals are cutting convex shapes and define the vessels of the series. They are positioned at the borderline between vessels and eating tools. Lively they attract attention on several sensual levels. The combination of visual impressions with haptic and olfactory awarenesses increases a variety of pleasurable experiences. Vaio reflects natural processes and colours to slowdown our fast-moving life. Various vessel compositions of different scenarios are located in gastronomic arrangements.
