Concept of artwork 設計理念:
My ceramics are inspired by journey and place, I find interest in noticing unseen objects in public view. My installation consists of elongated and extruded wall tiles in various shapes which aung together in order to create a larger converging half-pipe structure that snakes around the walls in an ambiguous ways. Each tile will is enveloped with individually hand-crafted porcelain strips in a variety of difference colours and hues, the strips will flow across the tiles in meandering patterns designed to draw the eye and provoke intrigue. The process to create these strips is very time consuming as each is individually placed after having rolled them with a cocktail stick. Each tile is completely unique. The tiles are attached to the wall with carefully cut out holes in the reverse.
