Rhiannon Ewing-James is the Creative Producer of British Ceramics Biennial, her artwork and research explores the significance place and material have on the development of creative practice.

Self introduction

Rhiannon Ewing-James currently holds the position of Creative Producer for the British Ceramics Biennial, previous to her current post she has held the position of a Studio Coordinator for the Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Centre and as Project Officer for Craft Northern Ireland. She additionally writes, contributing manuscripts towards publications and articles for international magazines and online platforms.

Rhiannon joined the British Ceramics Biennial in 2017 as Creative Producer were she has the opportunity to do her favourite thing, work with people. Rhiannon works on the exhibitions programme on a festival year supporting artists and she has the wonderful opportunity to work on year-round programming with her talented and knowledgeable colleagues.

As well as having the pleasure of working creatively within her role at BCB Rhiannon is an artist and designer with a degree in Contemporary Applied Arts from Ulster University, Belfast. Her artwork and research explores the significance place and material have on the development of creative practice.
